MAJOR BREAKTHROUGH ...

Today in Carlisle, Kentucky I made a major breakthrough on the Walls family research. I found, thanks to Kimball Booth (a local research hobbyist), that I was missing one generation in my tree. And, as luck would have it, his name was James Walls (I'm still chuckling about that one). He was born here in Nicholas County, Kentucky in 1836 and his father's name was Zachariah Walls. Now I'm getting someplace ... just don't know where yet.

How about that another James Walls, who would have thought to look for that? Didn't Marty McFly have a Zachariah in his family when he went back to the 1780's? Sounds like you are making some progress there Jim. I will keep checking up on your trip have a great time.
